This week the guys review Beowulf, and pick their favorite Christmas gift ideas from ThinkGeek.com. I don’t want to give too much away, so here’s a taste of what we found at ThinkGeek:
Tetra Tops
http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/cubegoodies/9bf8/
kind of like a spinning top, except that these tops are all made up of round spheres similar to marbles. They come with different numbers of marbles glued to each other and I have a fascination with spinning things (primarily dice) for all my years of playing D&D with my brother…so these just looked VERY cool….my gift idea for a stocking stuffer….
Monty Python Holy Hand Grenade Plush
http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/7cbb/
It is the real thing except it is a stuffed plush toy. Man I saw this and new it had to go on the list immediately!
They also had some that were two of them that would hang from your rear view mirror like plush dice, heh heh.
The ThinkGeek Annoy-a-tron
http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/8c52/
The Annoy-a-tron generates a short (but very annoying, hence the name) beep every few minutes. Your unsuspecting target will have a hard time ‘timing’ the location of the sound because the beeps will vary in intervals ranging from 2 to 8 minutes. The 2kHz sound is generically annoying enough, but if you really really want to aggravate somebody, select the 12 kHz sound. Trust us. The higher frequency and slight ‘electronic noise’ built into that soundbyte will make a full-grown Admin wonder where his packets are.
LED Faucet Lights

Gives the water coming out of a faucet the color blue, unless the water temp hits 89degrees and then it turns red. I just thought it was cool!
